I really liked the food and the warm hospitality; the tea gardens around it were picturesque and made the stay more memorable. Two caretakers were awesome at listening and serving to each request. It's a must‑stay if you plan 2–3 days in Wayanad. It’s a little different than traditional resorts and homestays. Nothing else.

Overall, a great place to stay with excellent staff and good food. The lights in the rooms are very dim, which I mentioned to the Manager. Also, the sauna room needs restricted access; we saw some employees entering from the side door.

“All staff were good, expect for the photgraphy. Staff took was for a sight seeing trip to tea factor”

I like the ambiance of the property. When we returned in a taxi, one staff member took a photo of our taxi without asking, which is not acceptable to me.

“Wrapped in warmth and beauty at Parisons”

Beautiful, charming colonial era estate. We loved the setting amidst its own green tea slopes. The service and food were also fantastic and we became so fond of Abida, Khatija and Bala who took such good care of us. We were really blown away by their warmth and hospitality. We stayed at Charkara Cottage and felt very cut off from even exploring the main building or having access to the main swimming pool. As the buildings are quite far from each other and it was too hot to walk in May when we were there, we would have appreciated a little more help regarding transport. Why can't you have some buggies available for guests that are not bound to strict timings?
