The room was fairly clean and the staff were very helpful, even letting me check in well before the official time. The spot is great, within walking distance of UNSW, Coogee beach, and the Randwick L2 line. However, the rooms feel too small for the price.

It’s close to the beach, the light rail, and the historic features. The lack of a lift makes carrying heavy luggage a challenge, and the overhead door closers slam loudly at night, which can disturb other guests.

“It was a good stay, however if you have accessibility issues then you are out of luck.”

The room and hallways were clean and quiet, and the location is close to the UNSW campus with a Coles nearby – only a 10‑20 minute walk to most campus areas. The room feels a bit small for the nightly rate, and the first‑floor rooms are only reachable by two flights of stairs.
