I loved how roomy the room and bathroom were, and waking up to the faint sound of a rooster was a nice touch.

“Desepcionante”

The pool was a highlight, but when we arrived the reception was unhelpful, asking who we were looking for, and our reservation didn’t show up; they questioned my payment and gave me a room with a road view instead of the sea‑view room I’d booked, even though it cost the same. They also advertised beach access, but when it was removed the place was full of iguanas and mosquitoes. The pool was closed on Friday night for a salon event, and on Saturday we never saw staff during the night, so we felt completely alone. The overall experience was very disappointing, even though the cleaning was impeccable and some staff were friendly.
