The staff were especially friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. However, the bath hadn’t been cleaned properly and the water pressure was awful; the single beds were very firm. We’d stayed here before because of its spot on the Windhoek‑to‑Cape Town route, but this time I felt the rooms were overpriced compared to other hotels we’d visited.

The restaurant was very good and the staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was fine. The fridge was broken, the AC was set to 30 °C and couldn’t be adjusted, the bathroom was tiny and in urgent need of renovation, and street noise kept me up all night.

The hotel houses a museum that showcases the area’s history, which is great for history buffs, and the formal lounge also displays a lot of historical artifacts. The restaurant food is outstanding, and I highly recommend it to all travelers. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and every staff member was very friendly and helpful.

The room was large, the beds were fine, and the food was okay. The furnishings were very outdated.
