I had a tidy, friendly encounter with Mr. X, but the street noise was a bit annoying.

We spent two nights at the IJsvogel and absolutely loved it; there was no street noise and we slept wonderfully. The chalet was very comfortable and clean, offering a stunning view of the field with horses—a lovely place to stay. We did miss having a toaster for making sandwiches, the towels felt a little small and stiff, and because the chalet is on the owner's property you get slightly less privacy. Still, we’ll definitely return!

This spot is perfect for a stopover on the Pieterpad: spacious, clean, and the reception was friendly. The view from the veranda is beautiful. The chalet sits right next to an N-road, so you constantly hear cars passing by.
