Check‑in was easy, the location is good for dog walking, bar food was good value and well prepared, and the staff were welcoming. Foolish guests smoked and set the alarm.

Nice room with a 4‑poster double bed, friendly staff, and evening entertainment in the bar. No gluten‑free beer was stocked, so we went to Clachen nearby for drinks because of this.

Ideally located, all staff were adorable, you could dine at the attached restaurant (they offer to reserve a table if needed), breakfast was good, and the room was comfortable. It was a bit difficult to set the water temperature.

The place is very nice, breakfast is very good and varied, and reception is impeccable. The hotel would benefit from a makeover; some facilities need updating.

We were not told at check‑in that there would be live “music” (karaoke) until 12:30 am. The TV in the room was shaking from how loud it was. If we had known we would have stayed elsewhere. Please ask the property before you book if there will be live music. The stay was horrible and felt dishonest.
