We stayed for a weekend in London and really enjoyed it. The hotel’s location was a highlight: almost everything is right outside the door—nice cafés and bakeries for croissants, avocado toast, or just coffee in the morning, plenty of bars and restaurants, and options for typical dishes like Fish and Chips or burgers. Supermarkets are nearby, some open late, so you can grab a drink or snack anytime. The spot is ideal for a city trip. A bus stop is practically at the front door and the underground is quickly reachable, making it easy to get to classic sights and various London neighborhoods. Notting Hill is also very close. What we liked best: even though it’s very central and close to the London bustle, the hotel itself isn’t in a completely crowded tourist area. The immediate surroundings are pleasant and relatively quiet, yet a few minutes’ walk takes you to livelier spots. The Holland Park location is especially nice—beautiful, well‑kept, and we loved it. A stroll around the area is worth it; you see a different side of London than the usual landmarks. Communication with staff was friendly and straightforward. We received a key for the lower and one for the upper area, so we could come and go freely. There was always someone on site if we had questions or needed help. We felt very well taken care of during our stay.
