We had a great night in very comfortable beds, and the welcome was excellent—special thanks to José, who, after our car broke down, checked the situation and called the rental company, then offered to drive us to our next hotel 😃🙏👍🏻.

The property is in a fantastic spot for visiting Calakmul, and the jungle setting is very evocative; the staff were very kind, breakfast starts at 6 am—perfect for early archaeological tours. We didn’t need air conditioning, used the fans even though they’re a bit loud, so if you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs.

The location is close to Calakmul, the people are friendly, the rooms are spacious with large, good beds, and there are hammocks in the room; you can open the windows at night (with mosquito net). However, there’s no mini‑fridge, no hot water, and no air conditioning—just a fan.
