“We had a lovely couple of days stay and will certainly look forward to going again”
The hotel was very convenient for the town and the river walk, easy to locate, and overall very good.

The food was excellent, the staff were efficient, friendly, and helpful, and the room was comfortable. The lounge/bar area could use more comfortable, ambient seating with easy chairs, and the kitchen’s evening smells were not very pleasant, but we still enjoyed our stay.

The lady at breakfast was lovely, but the room’s standard and quality fell short of what a 4‑star property should offer. I was pretty tired and the plumbing was very noisy, which made the stay unpleasant.

The room was small but pleasant, the breakfast was good, and the dinner at the hotel was excellent. The hotel’s remote location in a quiet area was exactly why we chose it. However, one of the two staff members present for the evening service was very closed off, showing no friendliness or empathy toward anyone, which was uncomfortable. The bed, advertised as a very large double, was not really that size, and a loud whistling sound persisted throughout the night, making it hard to sleep. We had come for peace and relaxation, and the place didn’t deliver that, especially given the price.

I stayed near Ludlow, and the setting was calm and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The room was on the second floor, so the stairs were a bit of a workout, and when we ordered fruit for breakfast, the only options that arrived were melon and pineapple.
