The traditional Japanese room was beautiful, very tidy, and offered a stunning view of the Mitake gorge from the balcony. The hosts were the real highlight—extraordinarily sweet and helpful—and the homemade breakfast was the perfect way to start the day.

The place felt cozy, the view was amazing, and the river’s sound was very relaxing; it had everything needed for comfort. The owners are friendly and serve the best breakfast, but as a foreigner I wasn’t used to it, so you’ll need to bring your own cutlery.

The property looked even more beautiful in person! The view from our room was lovely, the grounds were well maintained, and the host was very helpful and hospitable during our stay. Nature feels very accessible here. Heavy rain can affect the trains in the mountains, so plan accordingly and check the schedules! Thank you.

It rained heavily, but the owner welcomed us warmly by providing extra towels, which made us feel at ease. The cat also came to the table during breakfast and stayed until the meal was finished, well‑trained and soothing.
