“Recht weit weg von der Altstadt”
The Magione Papale Relais sits outside L'Aquila, and you can't walk into the city centre from there. Our room in the main building was good, but it had a small curved shower, two beds 80 cm wide, and the style wasn’t really cohesive. The shower could have been cleaned more thoroughly.

The location, in the green, was very quiet, and the building is an old country farmhouse finely renovated. Also my partner chose a massage that was top‑level. The restaurant, u pò dozzinale.
The building itself is gorgeous from every angle, but the room, while beautiful, lacks sufficient lighting.
The stay was impeccable in every way! I spent a few days here and it was an absolutely pleasant experience. The room was extremely clean and cared for in every detail, fragrant and equipped with all the comforts needed for perfect rest. The modern spaces were well organised and the hygiene was truly impeccable. A special shout‑out to the entire staff: professional, welcoming and always ready for any need, all with great courtesy and a smile that made you feel welcome from the first moment. The value for money is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for both business trips and leisure moments, and I’ll definitely come back!
