The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the lounge area was pleasant. The kitchen was outstanding; we praised both the chefs and the waiters, especially the manager 😊. The rooms were simple but clean and had everything you need. The road noise bothered us a bit, but it was bearable. The breakfast was also good. We recommend it not just for a stay but also just for a good meal.

A classic suburban inn with a few guest rooms and a restaurant. The owners were friendly and everything was flawless; bicycles could be locked in the building overnight. The breakfast was half a la carte and flawless. The rooms feel a bit old-fashioned but are clean and perfectly fine. Nothing to criticize. (By the way, for us it mattered that there is no kettle in the room for tea, but there is one in the hallway in front of the rooms.) The rooms are under the roof and can get quite hot in the high summer (but that wasn’t a problem for us).

The surroundings were very nice, the accommodation pleasant, the staff very friendly, the food excellent and the prices reasonable for the quality. We were very satisfied.

The room was a good size and an English‑speaking staff member was helpful. I asked for a boxed breakfast because I wanted to leave early, and they supplied it. The restaurant downstairs was very convenient. There was a function with music, but it didn’t disturb me in my room. Note that the entrance is at the back from the car park. The location is a little far from Bytča with its castle, Wedding Palace, coffee shops, square, etc. It’s more expensive than similar places I stayed at on this trip through Slovakia.
