Peter, the host’s father, looked after us by picking us up, dropping us at the train station, and giving us a ride into Pisciotta. He was very kind and hospitable. He spoke little English, and we spoke virtually no Italian, yet we got along really well. He thought of everything we might need. All good.

The rooms were very clean and the view was phenomenal, with sunsets that were irreplaceable. The breakfast was a bit thin; for us Germans it could have been more substantial, perhaps with a glass of juice, some cheese, cold cuts, butter, and bread.
