The hosts thoughtfully planned a variety of dishes for breakfast; we served ourselves buffet‑style, which was fine. We dined at a communal table in the beautiful dining room and had interesting conversations with other guests.

The owners were pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing—an overabundance of freshly made foods. The house was clean and the outdoor patio had lovely gardens. The only downside was that we couldn’t open the bedroom window; it would have been nice to have some fresh, cool air.

The breakfast was fantastic, with lots of variety, all flavorful and good quality food. The homemade treats for our tasting were far above what we expected—excellent! Everyone there couldn’t have been nicer. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood, touring the Frank Lloyd Wright home, and eating out in the wonderful garden. The only personal preference issue was that the bed pillows were not very comfortable—too lumpy.

The best place to stay in Grand Rapids! The house is beautiful and very well appointed. The room was very charming and had a wonderful bathroom with heated floor. The breakfast is the highlight of the stay and very generous!. I wish we had stayed longer!
