We absolutely adored the Mud Mirror and the incredibly friendly and accommodating Mr. Lala, the owner. The view from our room matched the photos perfectly, and we truly loved spending the night stargazing in the desert with our excellent guide Mr. Rosa and the remarkable camel driver Jamser, a young desert prince with a big heart, to whom we wish the best. The walks and conversations were a beautiful timeless moment we’ll keep in our hearts for a long time. Thank you all.

For us, staying in Jaisalmer is synonymous with the Mud Mirror. This is our third visit to this charming guest house inside the fort. The view from our room is amazing—you can see the sunrise over the city. The rooms are spacious and clean, hospitality is awesome, and the rooftop dining area offers a 360‑degree view of Jaisalmer. I’ll recommend this place anytime. The only suggestion is to add complimentary breakfast.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The place is beautiful, very clean, and located right inside Jaisalmer Fort. My room had incredible views — the Jain temples on one side and beyond the fort walls on the other. What made the stay really special was the staff. They were so warm and kind and genuinely took care of me from the heart. They helped me with everything I needed, including arranging my desert trip and showing me around Jaisalmer. Their rooftop restaurant was also a highlight — honestly some of the best Indian food I’ve had during my trip! Beautiful place, amazing location and views, delicious food, and truly wonderful people. Highly recommended!

The staff’s availability and friendliness, combined with the good food on a very pleasant rooftop overlooking the temples, made the stay memorable.
