The spot was perfect—everything was within walking distance, whether a bit farther or a bit closer, like the old town, the harbor, the Erice cable car, and San Giuliano beach about 2 km away. Breakfast was at Barriceddo Caffé, roughly 200 m away. The owner was super friendly, always grinning, and the food selection was exactly what we wanted, from sweet pastries to croissants, savory filled baguettes, and buns. The coffee was fantastic. The accommodation was just fine; nothing better could have met us. The landlord was as friendly as possible, helpful, smiling, ready to advise on transport, trips, shopping, and recommending good spots for food, wine, and beer.
