Everyone was friendly. After a vacation, I finally wrote a review about staying at Dream. We had a room on the 2nd floor with a large balcony, a spacious room with a huge bed, shower, toilet, everything worked and there was hot water. The kitchen was shared, but that didn’t interfere at all; we lived in peace and harmony. The host of the location was very cool, always ready to help and explain. We also left for a week to explore the island, they cleaned up, installed new fumigators, everything was calm. Convenient location, not far from the beach, but on a quiet street, peaceful. The nearest cafés were just around the corner. Plus there’s a supermarket right nearby. The price‑quality ratio at Dream is amazing! “Séjour agréable avec un bon rapport qualité/prix”

The location is in a quiet neighborhood yet all amenities are close by. The kitchen and dining area are well equipped. The welcome and host availability are good. The shower pressure was lacking, especially at the end of the day when the hot water ran out. The mattress was not very comfortable and the room was not mosquito‑proof.

“It was great)”

It was very clean and tidy with all the necessary furniture. There was both air conditioning and a fan. The private balcony was shaded by local trees. The room had a kitchen, and we could also use the common kitchen on the first floor. Hot water was available! The host was very friendly and helpful. We rented a Honda Dio scooter from him and it was great: new and with a good engine.

We stayed 4 days. Pros: Very cool host, you can rent a bike from him and he arranged a great transfer to Sigiriya. It was inexpensive. Hot water with good pressure. New linens. There is a shared kitchen, a large fridge and freezer, a blender for smoothies. No ants in the bed on the second floor. Large balcony on the 2nd floor. Cons: At night dogs bark constantly or neighbors; we didn’t sleep at all that night, unfortunately. The kitchen had one stove, uneven knives, and not very convenient cookware. A bachelor’s kitchen. The sea is within walking distance, but a bit farther than stated, but we took a bike and it didn’t matter.
