A beautiful place to stay

The room is very comfortable, yet there is not a single coat hook where one could air out clothes. There is a swimming pool, but you only find it if you know about it; the host never mentions it. The accommodation offers dinner, and we planned to eat there that evening, but upon arrival we were told there was no dinner; instead the host would reserve a table for us in a town 3 km away, after we had trekked all day and were exhausted. Luckily we had cheese and bread with us, and he offered to provide plates and cutlery. But !! two hours !! later he still hadn't brought the dishes. Unfortunately the host fits the stereotype of the chauvinistic Frenchman; when I asked if he spoke English, he arrogantly denied it. Conclusion: the stay was very annoying.

Nothing to say. The reception was a bit cold, we only met Monsieur who was polite. The meal: one jar of terrine, one salad, jarred cassoulet, a little brie, and an apple tart for 25 € even though it was listed as 20 € on their site. Breakfast was no better. Very humid, no sharing with the hosts, we felt very alone. Maybe they should stop their activity.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, the rooms were of good quality, the place was quiet, there was a pool, and the meals were tasty. Nothing negative.

Great communal space, home‑cooked meal, plenty of room, and the hosts were helpful.
