“Not for us”
It was close to the family we were visiting, very quiet, and the towels were nice. The shop was a good walking distance. The bedding felt rough on the skin, the wires on the electrical appliances looked worn, and the sockets were too close to the sink. The room had two single beds and two single duvets instead of one double bed. Breakfast quality was poor: only two very small eggs, pre‑packed rolls and croissants, and the food didn’t meet our taste. There was a big step into the bathroom, and at night it was hard to navigate. A hidden step in the shower meant you could stub your toe. There was no mirror for makeup or hair, only three hangers. It advertised as a B&B but charged an extra fee for breakfast, which surprised me because I’ve never paid extra for breakfast at B&Bs before. There was no TV, no radio, and the clock didn’t work.
