“Excellent , good food and great staff”
The location, ambiance, and the helpful staff team were all excellent.
The breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of egg dishes and fresh juices on request. Honestly, almost everything else was disappointing: the hotel feels far from a 4‑star standard, more like a 2‑star, tucked in a grim backstreet with shady characters that made us, as women, feel unsafe. The parking area is a mess, the building looks dated, none of the online photos are current, the paint is peeling, and there’s no beach directly in front despite claims about rising sea levels. The bar blared deafening music at an absurd volume, the rooms are cheap and offer zero soundproofing, and the whole place is unsuitable for Western travelers and especially for children. As soon as we stepped outside, we were bombarded by loud Jamaican vendors, which was terrible—never again.
“Photos very misleading”
The location looks great from the photos, but once you drive up, the reality is different. The advertised pictures don’t reflect the actual property. I felt unsafe with men knocking on car windows on the road, and there was no proper parking to leave the car securely. A lady on the beach made us uncomfortable. The room was different from the pictures and very dated, and the door locks didn’t look secure.
“Great for one nights, if day passes feel too short!”
Breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious, the bed was quite comfortable, I liked the amenities, and spending one night there was not bad at all; the beach was very relaxing! No complaints, but I would suggest having a bin in the room as well as in the bathroom.
“Place got a lot of potential but it needs to improve many areas”
Close to the sea, but the rooms were dirty, the shower didn’t work well, and the sink was leaking. The staff were a bit rude.
