The setting, facilities, and staff were exceptional; Shelly and I felt thoroughly spoiled while celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary. It’s hardly worth mentioning, but we would have preferred a double‑bed mattress instead of two single‑bed mattresses that kept separating.

The location was fine, but we were really disappointed with the room that was assigned to us. The photos are quite misleading because they mainly showcase the upper‑floor rooms with large windows, yet we ended up on the ground floor, right in front of the entrance where guests pass by. Even after we asked, the manager refused to move us to a different room and no effort was made for our second night. The room was also very damp, with a lot of condensation, and the layout of the toilet in the shower area is rather odd. The value for money seemed poor, with a price that felt too high for the service offered. We also found the staff overall not very friendly and seemed demotivated. At breakfast, when we requested eggs or pancakes that required preparation, we were clearly told that it was an inconvenience. The experience was unfortunately not up to the level expected for the price.
