The check‑in process was sluggish, with confusion over the third‑party booking and how we were charged. Later that night, a staff member accidentally walked into our room, which was unsettling. The motel wasn’t crowded, so you’d expect them to know which rooms were available, but they didn’t. There were a lot of flies in the room and no fly swatter to deal with them, plus no box of Kleenex tissues and the doors weren’t properly sealed. The sewage issue was obvious from the smell in the parking lot, and the fact that they were actively digging it up wasn’t mentioned anywhere; if we’d known when booking, we’d have chosen a different place.

The front office staff were helpful and friendly, the motel was quiet and clean, and the linens were good quality, but the air conditioner was noisy and cold.
