“Recommend to others. John Earl was too fun!!”

It was a very cute old house; our party of three older siblings enjoyed the upstairs suite outback, a nice little deck overlooking the pool and fire pit complete with a nesting bird, and great breakfast in the beautiful dining room. Nothing else to note, though a squirt of oil on the door hinges would help. 🚪😉

“I really loved it and would absolutely stay again.”

The place was so charming inside and out, the service was great, and breakfast was amazing—coffee and tea were still available even though we arrived so late, making it perfect after a long trip. The parking fee was a bit high, and we almost stepped on a smashed cockroach in the sitting room floor.

“The heart of the Historic District”

The accommodations were beautiful, the staff was superb, the location was great, and the food was delicious. We did have repeated toilet problems, but the staff responded quickly and fixed it—just a minor blip in an otherwise wonderful stay, and we would definitely return.

“We will not come back.”

The breakfast is very good. The tea stage is well organized. 1. The guestroom we stayed in has a strong smell of mold, very intense in the living room and kitchen area. I left a message about this but no one responded until 1 day after we checked out. 2. The staff who checked us in were friendly but missed much information, he didn't let us know the door code, so we were locked outside when we got back after 9 pm and had to call the emergency contact for a password to get in. 3. When we booked the room it says 'private pool' under the room description, and the photo looks like there is a pool in our suite, which it's actually a pool shared by the entire property
