We stayed in a mixed six‑bed dorm and the room was fine; we liked the hostel’s good location. However, the stay didn’t live up to the price or our expectations. The room had no air conditioning and it got hot even when it was freezing outside. The bathroom had almost no water flow; the water was cold, and you had to press a button every four seconds to keep it running. I’m all about environmentalism and saving water, but there are other ways to do so; the sinks are not like this, so I don’t understand. On our floor, two of the three restroom toilets were locked for three days, leaving only one men’s toilet for the entire floor, and we couldn’t access other floors. The bar and restaurant service was subpar; it was advertised as open until 11:30, and when we arrived at 10:50 it was very busy, but the bartender was extremely rude and said he was closed. We left with other guests to go to another bar. Finally, I’ve never been to a hostel where a towel has to be purchased; I’ve stayed at hostels worldwide and you can always rent one, and if you buy it you’re told you can return it at the end of your stay but get no refund. For the price I would not stay here again.
