The rooms are beautifully clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the beach right outside the resort is stunning.
The Chinese restaurant serves authentic Sichuan dishes at reasonable prices, making it a great value for money.
The beach is literally right outside, and you can access the sea without even leaving the hotel.

They provide flip‑flops and the beach is just a short walk away, but the restroom constantly smells of sewage.
“Prima verblijf”
Our room was tidy, spotless and offered a sea view, and the hotel has a distinctly Chinese vibe with many Chinese guests and a Chinese restaurant. It sat conveniently close to the beach and nearby eateries. Breakfast was basic, though you could order an omelet, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The toilet flushed poorly, almost not at all, and workers were laying a path near our room, creating noticeable noise. Lovina feels rundown, impoverished and littered, making it far from an appealing seaside destination; the only real attraction is dolphin watching. Vendors are pushy, still trying to sell after you’ve said “no thank you” ten times, but that’s understandable given the visible poverty.
“Great Views, Poor Breakfast”
The views from the room were stunning, and the decor was modern and well-maintained. However, the breakfast was a letdown – it was Chinese-style, not Continental, and the coffee was served in those awful little packets that you have to make yourself. To top it off, there was no safe in the room, and the toilet was broken and needed to be fixed by hand.
The view is beautiful, yet construction is happening right now and the breakfast was Chinese, which didn't suit my English tastes.
“Horrible Breakfast, extremely low quiality and little things.”
I picked one of the priciest spots in the area hoping for top quality and a decent breakfast, but the room was only moderately clean and the breakfast was the worst I’ve had in Bali. Even cheap hostels serve better food. The breakfast was horrible: everything came in cheap plastic containers, the noodles and rice were low quality, and the egg was gone. When I asked for more eggs, they brought two more sunny‑side‑up eggs that were supposedly fresh but were cold. When I asked for coffee, they said they had none, then later offered Nescafé. When I asked for water, they said they had none and tried to sell me a bottle from the fridge. This was the worst breakfast of my trip. Avoid it!
