It did not meet the **** standard at all, the beds were uncomfortable, and the restaurant staff were awful.

We chose the place for its proximity to Legoland, and the restaurant served decent food, but there was no staff, the reception was in a nearby 3* hotel, and breakfast was very poor for the price of a 4*; we expected better comfort and service.

The place was very quiet, and breakfast was delicious. The staff seemed professional and competent. If they ever decide to renovate, they should make the rooms a bit larger – the current size is just on the edge. It felt a bit empty because there were no two armchairs in the room, only two stool‑like things to sit on besides the bed, which can be a bit uncomfortable for the back.
