I suggest you contact the owner before you go. I arrived with my husband and two children, including a 10‑month‑old baby, and when I told Marcelo we had arrived, he said he wasn’t there and couldn’t give me the key. He told me to "look around because there should be another place available." I was already past the cancellation deadline, so I couldn’t cancel. I sent a message to the booking site for help and got no reply. Luckily I managed to stay at another nearby inn (Pousada das Orquídeas – Índico, by the way). It was a terrible experience with this accommodation. I never even entered, so I don’t know how it looks inside, but the stress was so high that my Saturday was basically ruined. I repeat, if anyone books this place, I recommend contacting him first to make sure someone will be there to receive/hand over the key.

“Voltarei a me hospedar”

The staff member who took care of our accommodation was really polite and helpful. The only downside was the shower in the shared bathroom—it was a bit weak, but it didn’t ruin the stay.

The property sits quite a distance from Paraty’s historic center, so you spend a lot of time traveling back and forth. If you want to be near the main sights, this location isn’t ideal.

“Bom custo benefício”

We loved the warm hospitality from the staff, the pool area, and the room itself. Unfortunately, the air‑conditioning wouldn’t let us change the temperature, which was frustrating.

“Localização das piores”

The place turned out to be a disappointment. You arrive at streets filled with dirty, unpaved water, then have to crawl through a narrow alley to reach the chalet. Inside, the patio looks like a neglected, almost haunted yard.
