The place is in a good spot and clean, but the Wi‑Fi was completely dead, the elevator moved at a snail’s pace, there was no TV, and the bed was tiny.

I liked that it was central and I could walk to many places like the Colosseum or the Trevi Fountain; the staff were very friendly and helped with anything, even arranging a taxi in the early morning; the breakfast was tasty and pleasant; the check‑in was very late (2:30 pm), I arrived early and wanted to make the most of the day but couldn’t get dressed or leave for tours; the mattress could improve, it was saggy.

The room I got didn’t match what I’d booked; the photos were misleading, the room wasn’t tidy, the bathroom floor was stained, the sink had toothpaste marks, and the sheet had a brown spot that looked like blood; the shower was noisy because the water kept filling. It’s only suitable for people who just need to sleep and don’t care about cleanliness. The hotel is very flexible with check‑in and lets you leave your luggage after check‑out, which is handy if you have a later flight.

The spot is obviously great—within walking distance of everything—and the hotel was clean, pleasant, and the staff friendly. The room had a small fridge and air‑con, and the shower worked fine. The restaurants are just minutes away. The breakfast was disappointing; for only 6 € it was not good—bread rolls and croissants were stale, and the coffee was weak, especially in Italy where coffee is usually excellent. Perhaps we expected too much. On a bright side, there’s an amazing bakery/café just around the corner, and the room lacks a kettle.

The location was good, but the air‑conditioner leaked water, the toilet button didn’t work, hot water was unreliable, and the elevator had problems.
