The place was quiet with a great view. The staff were very helpful, more so than at other places I've been. Everything was very clean and it was just a great spot. My sister and I stayed together; she posted a review, and this is mine now. I can't think of any negatives; everything was great.

Host Stuart is the star here. He was friendly and very informative, definitely helped us plan our five‑day stay. The breakfast was simple but great value – yoghurt, cereal, granola, toast, croissant, tea/coffee. The location is convenient for exploring the island. The room was clean, perfectly adequate, with an ensuite, and the downstairs lounge and outside space matched the price. We walked to the beach, pubs and restaurants, but Ventnor is quite hilly, so some may need to drive.

We loved the idea of breakfast being delivered to our room; it made our stay even more relaxing. Definitely a big thumbs up from us both. The location was beautiful, very quiet and peaceful – a perfect three‑day break.
