The apartment was clean. I was the first to ever see an extra charge for air conditioning. €3 isn’t a huge amount, and I can blame myself for missing the fine print before booking, but it still felt like a hidden fee. Just include it in the total price instead of adding it later.

The location is great, easy to reach from the central station by public transport. The room could use a real door, and the kitchen could be a bit newer.

The spot is well‑located near the tram loop, the room is quiet, and communication with the owner was quick and efficient. When we arrived, the room hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests. We let the owner know, and he said the cleaning staff would come. We went sightseeing in Milan, and when we returned around 10 pm the room was still dirty. We informed the owner again, who gave us the cleaning staff’s contact and told us “someone is on the way.” We waited until almost midnight, but no one showed up. Luckily we had our own sleeping bags and towels, so we didn’t have to sleep in dirty sheets. The cleaning staff offered a compensation that was less than half the price of the stay. The room’s AC was an extra charge, and the city tax was much higher than at another place we stayed a week later in Milan (9 € per person per night vs 3 € per person per night).

I liked the house; it was really nice and beautiful! The wifi was fast too, and I enjoyed the stay.
