Very friendly and helpful host. A stream and hiking trails right outside the door. Parking available at the entrance. Three separate bedrooms (one double bed, two double loft beds). A restaurant within walking distance (about 1 km). The radiator was a storage heater and electricity had to be paid for separately (about 15 €/day in winter). The dog had to be paid for (8 €/day) and could not be left alone. Payment was only possible in cash. The shower was hard to regulate (the old instant‑hot water tap’s starting point) and the drive to Skikarussel Winterberg took about 25 minutes by car.
