I stayed at a cozy country pub a short drive from Burford and Bourton on the Water, and the food was great while the room felt snug with good amenities, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The only downside was the mattresses, which felt pretty firm.
“Excellent b&b”
I liked the picturesque pub beside the river, and the staff were excellent as was the room.
“A lovely, relaxing short break.”
The team are exceptional—polite, very efficient and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. The menu is varied with daily specials and the food is delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again.
“A bit out of the way but a great rural pub”
The food and staff were good, but the sink in my room was faulty.
“Staff were very friendly, rooms a little dated. Lovely evening meal and breakfast, ideal for our one night stopover 😊”
The staff were nice and friendly, the food was good, and the location on the river was nice.
