A great European‑style hotel that made me feel at home. The Wi‑Fi was a bit complicated to switch on, and the valet parking fees were hard to pay, forcing me to look for self‑parking on the other side of the street. Otherwise everything was excellent.

This is definitely not a 4‑star hotel. Free toiletries are missing (no shower cap), slippers, bathrobes, kettle, tea, Nespresso pods, and water bottles are only given once at arrival. There are no umbrellas for guests—only rain ponchos for sale, and not even free ones. Seriously? Breakfast is okay, but I would expect better coffee, especially espresso, given that no coffee capsules are in the room. The bread selection is poor, only two types of toast and bagels. The floors aren’t carpeted, yet no slippers are provided. Overall, if the price matched the amenities, I might recommend it, but it doesn’t, so I don’t.

The hotel is very large, very crowded and very central – definitely a good choice. The fitness centre is decent. The rooftop is very nice. The rooms are clean and welcoming. Breakfast is top, even though it’s in a very large and noisy environment due to the high traffic. Nothing negative about the hotel itself. The only off note is that the paid parking at an adjacent facility isn’t exactly cheap but is in line with US city prices.
