We spent two nights here to escape Chengdu and get a taste of the mountains, and it was a solid break. The room was big, spotless and dead quiet after dark, and the private hot tub was perfect after a day of climbing. Service was friendly and the food hit the spot. The only hitch is that the hotel sits a bit off the main entrance, so you’ll need a Didi or the pricier tourist mini‑bus to reach it – which is also why it feels so peaceful.
