“Excellent”
The stairs to the second bedroom were so narrow they made it a real hassle to get up there.

The location was top notch. A 3 minute walk to the beach. The hotel provided beach chairs via their sister property. The property overall and the room were great, as were the breakfast, pool and spa facilities. We enjoyed a massage as well which was done by friendly and able staff. In addition, access to the bus for travel to Fira was a breeze -- 2 minute walk down the street. Really hard to beat. Our room was a loft with a second level. The design of the curved ceiling and the placement of the stairs was such that we all (4 of us) bumped our head pretty hard on the ceiling when we went up to the loft. The ceiling should have some markings to make it more visible especially because of the smooth round shape. We were also surprised and somewhat dismayed that the hotel did not provide complementary bottled water when the tap water is not potable. We had to buy and carry bottled water from the local market. It wasn't impossible, but an unnecessary hassle that I would not expect of a 5-star property. The cost of the water for our 1 week stay was probably 10E

The place was magnificent!

The grounds and pool were great, especially for families. The downside was that people smoked in the morning during breakfast, and some dishes were served cold—like the fried eggs, beans, and omelette.

It isn’t a five‑star experience. The restaurant and rooms were incomplete.
