The staff are wonderful and the rooms are comfortable. The rooftop restaurant serves really tasty food. The main issue wasn’t the property itself, but it was scorching hot during our visit, so we couldn’t spend much time on the rooftop patio or in the rooms. The AC was fine, but the building’s structure isn’t well insulated.

The location is fantastic with stunning views of the fort. The rooms feel very authentic and the bed is comfortable. Shower pressure is good. Breakfast included a delicious cheese omelet and coffee. Dinner on the rooftop was lovely and the food was tasty. There’s a wide variety of dishes. The room has air‑conditioning and a ceiling fan. I would definitely book again.

I had a great stay at Shahi Palace Hotel. The staff were absolutely lovely and always took great care of me. The food was very good, the hotel was spotless, and the nights were very quiet so I slept well. They also organize desert trips off the usual tourist trails, which is a great way to experience the desert more authentically. The prices are very competitive. The free pickup from the train station was a great service that made my arrival easier. I highly recommend Shahi Palace Hotel if you want a clean, peaceful, and welcoming place to stay in Jaisalmer!
