The vibe was great and the staff were friendly, making it easy to communicate even though we didn’t speak Japanese. The rooms were tidy and spacious, with a stunning outdoor area and a private onsen. The bed was super comfortable and even face masks were found in the room.

The breakfast and dinner were satisfying, and the view from the open-air bath was wonderful. The room lighting felt a bit too dark; a little brighter would have been better.

It was an amazing experience with extremely helpful staff and a fantastic location. The facilities felt a bit outdated, but that’s probably part of the Ryokan charm.
