The place was clean and spacious, and the location was good. The bedroom got too hot, and the AC was only in the living room, which wasn’t enough. The mattress was so bad that we sank into it immediately.

The full set of appliances in the three rented apartments was fantastic, letting us cook for ourselves. We had a dryer, washer, ironing board, and fully equipped kitchens. On Oahu, eating out for breakfast or dinner was much more expensive than buying groceries and cooking. The two swimming pools (including a whirlpool) were great and used daily by our four kids (we were 10 people: 6 adults & 4 children). The adjacent BBQ grills (Weber gas grill) were also excellent, and we grilled there almost every day (gas was already provided). There were enough parking spots for our two rental cars. The apartment with one king‑size bed had a front‑side ocean view, but its furnishings were the worst: the kitchen needed renovation (drawer pulls only opened with effort, doors were already crooked) and overall there were fewer items (only four sets of plates, cups, cutlery). The other two apartments with two double beds and sea view were better. The TV was extremely small for American standards (about a 32” TV). Because we always met in the other two apartments, these limitations didn’t bother us much. The air conditioners in all three apartments were extremely loud, so we had to turn them off at night in some cases.

The view from the room was beautiful. The room didn’t feel clean; there were old contacts on the tables and no soap in the dispensers.

We stayed in an upper‑floor corner unit with sweeping ocean views in three directions. The view was outstanding. The balcony was large and we used it every day. The pools and hot tubs were warm and fabulous. I liked the quiet pool vibe with relaxed people and no music, just ocean waves. The shuffleboard and mini‑golf were also super great and included in the condo. There were turtles and monk seals right on the beach in front of our unit, so it was fabulous to see them! Remember to stay way back and not disturb them as they rest on shore. The washer was challenging to use but we made it work. The dryer was great! The bed needs a fitted bottom sheet so it doesn’t curl up at night. The beach wall is under construction but needed. The resort was replacing sidewalks, which is necessary but noisy. The AC is only on or off, no temperature control.
