“Quiet and relaxed”

The spot by the river is perfect—quiet, secluded, and the service is top‑class. Breakfast and lunch were lovely, and the walk to the sea was a pleasant stroll.

“What a treat our stay at Ging Oya was 🤩”

The lodge feels like a comfy, tastefully decorated retreat, with rooms set in bungalows amid tropical gardens. The swimming pool is fantastic, and the meals are delicious and elegantly presented. Niroshan, a staff member, is attentive, friendly, and efficient. The only downside is mosquitoes, a problem throughout Sri Lanka, not just at this lodge.
