“Super Kurztrip für Amsterdam”
The spot is lovely and quiet, with plenty of cheap parking right outside the door. The host is very friendly, and the metro gets you to the city center in no time. We’ll definitely come back :)

The location is fabulous, whether you want to stroll along the canal and heritage homes or quickly reach transit and shops. Ruud and Annemarie welcomed us warmly. I arrived during a scheduled transit strike, so Ruud drove me into town and picked me up afterward. Breakfasts were lovely and the classic Dutch dishes I asked for were served. The walkway from the front entrance was quite slippery.

Everything was perfect. We loved staying in a traditional house full of character and charm, and being able to sit in the garden after the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. We had everything we needed and more. The hosts were exceptional—thanks for the apple pies and the lift to the ferry. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you.

The house and its surroundings have a typical feel. It’s a bit far from the center, but that’s not really a drawback.

The owners are very nice and helpful. Parking for Amsterdam is very cheap and right outside the door. The height of the stay matters: it’s a 1650 house, so if you want to stay longer, keep that in mind. We found it fine for one or two nights.
