“We would stay in this brand again, asking for a room with a tub and a view.”

We appreciated having a fridge and a very comfy bed, which were crucial for us. The bath was nice except the shower floor was slippery, the water was extremely soft, and we wished for a bathtub for soaking. More grab bars were needed. We requested a quiet room but were first given one near the elevators; after checking we switched it away from the elevator traffic. Then we were moved to a room facing the busy street instead of one overlooking the beautiful lake. The slippery shower base was treacherous.

Housekeeping was supposed to come every other day, but they didn’t. When they missed the first scheduled visit, I asked at the front desk and they sent housekeeping to tidy the room. After that, they only cleaned once more. I stayed for 7 days, and every day but one I had to request towels and washcloths from the front desk.
