The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was fine. We had booked breakfast, yet despite repeated inquiries the staff refused to provide even coffee, tea, milk, or muesli. We ended up paying 200 kronor for breakfast in the next town the following morning, and we would like that amount refunded.

The area is good, close to everything and attractions like Karlsborgs fästning. The included dinner and breakfast are acceptable but nothing special; for the price it’s fairly okay, but not more.

There’s a nice range of activities at the hotel, and the free evening meal was tasty. Breakfast was okay. The facilities are worn out and the décor is awful.

The hotel’s location is 1A, and the massage and foot‑care service is excellent. A friend saw my car at the hotel and was told at reception that there was no guest named “Manfred Schenke”; I suspect I had booked through “Booking”.
