Good location, big room. Really good for my one night stay in the area. Would use again. Dining area was welcoming and staff provided an exceptionally generous veggie lasagne for me which was not on the menu. Very accommodating.

The staff were friendly and helpful. On our way to the room there were threadbare carpets on the stairs and the corridors looked old fashioned and tired, not a good start I thought to myself. The room was exactly the same old fashioned and tired, more suited to the 1960s. The bathroom and shower were absolutely awful, plus the shower was fixed to wall with the shower controls detaching from the wall. The shower also leaked all night, which was quite annoying, and the sink was also coming away from the wall. The room was very extremely hot inside and you couldn't even open the window because of the noise coming from the disco in the bar below. The bed was so uncomfortable, couldn't really sleep well with the noise and the heat. Got up feeling awful and left, could not stay there another minute. This place needs closing down and a full refurb, for the life of me I don't know how they are getting away with having paying guests there with the state of the room and all the noise, they seem to rely on party nights at weekend as the main earner. They certainly shouldn't have paying guests staying there whilst the music is so loud and people shouting outside till the late hours. They ought to concentrate on one or the other. Both doesn't work. Do not stay at weekend unless you go to bed after midnight and you are a heavy sleeper who doesn't mind sleeping in jungle heat.

The spot is great for getting to Anglesey and North Wales, though the building feels a bit worn. The room was immaculately clean, staff were helpful, friendly and professional, and the restaurant was outstanding. We stayed four nights but had no internet at all; the staff knew the issue and were trying to fix it. Cell reception in the parking lot didn’t work either, which made planning our daily trips and keeping my husband’s business contacts a hassle. We asked for a partial refund, but nothing came back.
