“Worse hotel experience ever”

The price was reasonable, but the room was dusty and the beds uncomfortable. The room keeper didn't clean thoroughly—he only made the bed, left the trash, and didn't change the towels when housekeeping arrived. There was no coffee maker in the room, and the continental breakfast was missing compared to other places. The staff were unfriendly, and the towels were ripped and looked like they were falling apart with frayed ends.

“Great”

The staff were amazing and the rooms were clean. I had some concerns based on other reviews, but I’m glad we gave this place a chance. We were there for the James Dean Festival and would stay again. It was a bit pricey, but everything was booked because of the festival, so that explains the higher rates. The staff were sweet and very nice.

There wasn’t much to say. We requested clean towels for the second night and didn’t receive any, leaving us without towels to shower the next morning. The hairdryer was broken. When we returned the previous night, the blanket was pulled up but the bed was not made, indicating someone had been in the room; they also failed to take our dirty towels or provide clean ones. The soap dispenser was empty.

“They are thieves and liars and refuse service dogs”

I called ahead to confirm that my service animal was allowed, booked online, and when I arrived the staff told me “NO ANIMALS on property.” They now want to keep my money and claim I stayed there, even though I couldn’t because they refused my service dog. They had advertised as pet friendly, yet they denied my small Chihuahua. They also took my money even though I never stayed due to their refusal of my service dog, which I never expected would be a tactic to steal my payment.
