“Nice clean comfortable stay with comfortable bed.”
I was in Worcester and the hotel sits right in the center, just a five‑minute drive from my son’s place in St Peter’s.

The room was spacious and the spot was perfect for both the station and city centre, with a bar and a small lounge. The hand gel was placed high above the sink, which made it hard to reach for someone who is 5ft 2in, and the air conditioning would be essential during the warmer months.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the size was good. The English breakfast was hot and plentiful. Staff were extremely warm and professional, and the hotel’s location is convincing—just 2 minutes from Worcester Foregate station and 4 minutes from the high street, with Worcester Cathedral a short walk away. Nothing to complain about; I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and they’ve only improved.

We loved the location and have stayed there before. The bar man was an amazing, tall young chap—very funny, very accommodating, and he even handled breakfast at the podium, which we paid for in the morning. He really made our stay special, so thanks to him. We offered to buy him a drink, but he wasn’t allowed to accept it. Breakfast was lovely and fresh, served repeatedly. On the downside, the receptionist at arrival was mediocre; when I asked to book and pay for breakfast she suggested I might want to go elsewhere. The place felt a bit outdated, with a damp smell around the bar, and the old moist cider had an off smell from old pipes—there are bottles if you go.
