The place was spotless and the hosts were genuinely friendly. We loved the view, the animals roaming nearby, and the campfire evenings. Nothing to complain about at all.

Staying in that cabin felt like stepping into a bird‑watcher’s dream – the garden is full of feeders, birdbaths and even a koala in the gum trees. The hosts were warm and left plenty of thoughtful touches, plus there was always hot water. The only downside was the cramped kitchen corner – no dining table and barely any prep space, and a coffee plunger would have been nice.

After leaving the freeway you’re in what feels like God’s own country, with great pizza in Kandanga and the pretty town of Amamoor nearby. Robyn and Greg were attentive without being intrusive, and their modern, spacious apartment was spotless with a balcony perfect for coffee while watching tiny finches and parrots at the feeder. It was exactly the kind of chill getaway I needed, and I’m already planning to return next year.

The room was immaculate and super comfy, and the whole vibe felt romantic with birds singing outside. It was just the right mix of clean and cozy for a relaxing stay.
