I sent an email beforehand saying I didn’t want a room with the two single beds facing each other, but that request was ignored, and I couldn’t sleep any night. Still, I’m fairly happy with the hotel overall.

The location is great if you need to be close to Sants station, and there’s a taxi stand at the door. Breakfast is very good and has a lot of variety, although the pancake machine starts to fail after the third batch and you end up with ruined pancakes. The gym is small but has enough equipment to train decently, though the ceiling is low and the doors are open so you can be seen from the reception waiting room, which feels a bit odd. The price was €266 for a single night. I was charged twice for the same night, I complained and am still waiting for a refund because they don’t give a solution on the spot and tell me to talk to my bank when the error is theirs. Check‑in takes a long time and it’s clear they’re out of control at reception. They couldn’t find my reservation even when I showed the confirmation directly from the Booking app, everything was correct. They offered to add breakfast for the next day at €15 or €18, I asked if I could go to the room first and then add it, and they said yes. Then they wanted to charge the €18 immediately after 15 minutes from check‑in. Finally they charged only €15. They gave me an adapted room, saying it only involved a wider bathroom door, but that’s not all – the bathroom has no partition to separate the shower, and the whole bathroom is set up for the shower, which is uncomfortable because you can wet toilet paper or any product you leave on the sink. The sink drain didn’t work and they had to come fix it. The room has no fridge, so even the bottled water they offer is hot. The air‑conditioner is very noisy at night and if you turn it off you die of heat. At check‑out I left my suitcase and they gave me a small card to identify it. I came back later to pick it up, gave them the card and also told them the color and brand of the suitcase. The receptionist returned with two suitcases and I had to tell him that only one of them was mine. This confirms the lack of control they have at reception. The hotel has different spaces on the same floor and reception doesn’t explain the options you have, so you have to investigate and find out if a zone is for breakfast, bar, restaurant, meeting rooms, etc.

Next to train station. Despite asking by email and being confirmed that the second sofa bed to be made up, this didn’t happen, sounds a small thing but arrived exhausted after a long journey and the room phone didn’t work so had to queue at reception for half an hour to sort it, luckily the 3rd floor reception was less busy than the ground floor reception . The receptionist said that you can only have the sofa bed made up if you book for 3 persons, sounds silly!

The hotel is modern, colorful, and welcoming, with large, comfortable rooms. The staff are extremely kind, the breakfast is generous, and the restaurant is very good.

The location right next to the Sants station is great, but there’s a bad smell in the hallways.
