Not to discourage anyone, but really consider other options when going to Ouro Preto; a motel would be cleaner. Unfortunately it doesn’t justify even the price, the place is extremely dirty and heavy to stay in, very disorganized.

The staff were helpful, and the Wi‑Fi signal was fine. The shower was awful, with little cold water; the TV was old, only showing SBT and Globo. Breakfast was very basic.

We didn't know there would be so many stairs. The rooms are noisy—you can hear the next room. Breakfast was okay. The place is a bit far from the city center.
