I've stayed at this place for years now, and it remains spotless with a team that’s always welcoming and helpful. The on‑site restaurant shut down after the pandemic, but they still serve a complimentary breakfast straight to your room whenever you want it. The bar opens at 4 pm, and there’s a separate restaurant just a short walk behind the hotel, plus plenty of other dining spots nearby. The location is great.

This inn is a gorgeous old building that’s been well maintained, with a lovely lobby, sitting area, and a patio around the pool lined with nice plants and flowers. We enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar and chatted with the bartender. The room was fine and the breakfast was great! The only downside was the quilt on the bed—too heavy for us, and the sheet alone wasn’t enough. Even with the AC on low and the room at 75 °F, the air temperature felt uncomfortable.

The pool was open until 10 pm, and my family and I swam at night without the sun, which was great since I have lupus. The only issue was that no one mentioned I’d paid $25 a night for a roll‑away bed, so that caught me off guard when I didn’t have enough cash. Other than that, it was clean, cool, and fun.
