The location is great, the staff friendly, the breakfast rich, and the hotel bar served the best Hugo spritz I’ve had in all of Italy; the only downside was that mornings were noisy if you stayed in a room without a sea view.

The location is excellent right in the center, the staff are very kind and welcoming, but the room décor is basic and doesn’t match the price.

The hotel is great! The breakfast was good, the view was lovely, and the central location right by the ferry was convenient, plus the balcony was nice. The staff were sweet except for the young girl who had been there for several days, was very rude and didn’t smile when we arrived – that was unpleasant. The adult staff were nice and friendly, even at breakfast. The street noise was bad even though we stayed on the 5th floor; we liked keeping the door open at night but that wasn’t possible, which was annoying and spoiled some of the joy of the sea view and balcony. We didn’t know Rapallo had so much through‑traffic! Otherwise we would have chosen to stay in Camogli. Several things in the apartment were broken because they were simply worn out, such as a drawer handle, the kettle’s power cord couldn’t reach, and there were other small things that didn’t work quite right.

I stayed right on the seaside promenade, and the reception was super friendly and the staff were always ready to help; the restaurant was very pleasant. The only downside was that parking was impossible nearby, the elevator was old, and the room felt like it needed a makeover.
